Morenci Unified School District is seeking a dedicated individual to support our Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in providing services to students across campus. This position assists in implementing therapeutic strategies that help students access learning and build essential skills.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience working with children

• Ability to follow directions and implement instructional or therapeutic strategies as assigned

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and parents

• Ability to serve as a positive role model for students

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

• Physically able to assist students with movement, positioning, and classroom activities as needed

• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card with IVP number at time of employment

• Other qualifications as determined by the administration
